A Note
to Mothers
less pretending. MOre truth.
This isn’t a place for perfection, productivity hacks
or impossible standards.
It’s a place for honest words, slower living and
remembering who you are beneath everything
you’re carrying.

If you’re reading this while hiding in the bathroom for
five minutes of peace, while reheating the same cup of coffee
for the third time, or while wondering why motherhood
feels harder than anyone warned you it would…
I see you.
I’ve had those days too.
The days when the laundry piles up.
The patience runs thin.
The overwhelm settles in your chest.
The days when you love your family deeply and
still wonder where you’ve gone in the middle of caring for everyone else.
Roots & Cradle was born from that place.
From wanting more than survival.
From wanting a life that felt slower, healthier,
and more rooted in what actually matters.
___
Because somewhere along the way, motherhood became a performance.
A race to keep up. A competition nobody asked to join.
A never-ending list of things we’re supposed to optimize, improve, and perfect.
We’re told to be endlessly available, endlessly productive,
endlessly patient, and endlessly grateful.
And when we’re overwhelmed?
Burnt out? Barely holding it together?
We’re handed another routine.
Another planner.
Another morning habit.
Another way to fix ourselves.
But maybe you don’t need fixing.
Maybe you’re exhausted because modern motherhood asks too much.
Maybe you’re tired of carrying expectations that
were never meant to rest solely on your shoulders.
Maybe the answer isn’t doing more.
Maybe the answer is coming home to yourself.
That’s what Roots & Cradle is about.
Not escaping motherhood.
Not romanticizing it.
But learning how to live inside it without losing yourself.

THIS SPACE IS A REFUSAL
to believe that exhaustion is
simply the price of being a
good mother. A refusal to
accept burnout as normal.
INSTEAD, I’M CHOOSING
SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
More presence.
More truth.
More grace.
More room to breathe.
HERE YOU’LL FIND
conversations about motherhood, slow living,
nervous system care,
holistic wellness, healing,
and the everyday work of creating a life
that feels nourishing instead of overwhelming.
THIS SPACE ISN’T ABOUT BECOMING A BETTER MOTHER.
It’s about remembering you’re a person, too. A woman with needs.
A body with wisdom.
A life that matters.
YOU BELONG HERE.
